We have a long-standing partnership with the Deutsche Telekom Foundation. In the past, we have jointly implemented a large number of projects for schools and youth facilities. We are currently supporting the foundation in its “Chancen bilden@Bonn” initiative, particularly in the project Klima findet Stadt.
The Hopp Foundation is committed to teaching students about the important field of IT, from using the internet to programming languages.
Fraunhofer IAIS launched the “Open Roberta Lab” programming platform in 2014. Together, we have made it possible to program the senseBox using the Open Roberta programming language NEPO, which millions of people from more than 120 countries worldwide are using to get started with coding under the highest data protection measures. https://www.open-roberta.org/

The Ifgi is the birthplace of the senseBox and plays a key role in its development. The institute is currently involved in the further development of the system as part of the senseBox:pro cooperation project together with Reedu GmbH & Co. KG.
GI@School - Geoinformation in schools—shares the knowledge generated at Ifgi and makes it available to the public, particularly in the field of education. The idea for the senseBox and the openSenseMap originated here.

With its “Open Photonik Pro” funding initiative, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) aims to facilitate new forms of collaboration between science and industry and the maker and start-up scene. The senseBox:pro project promotes the further development of the senseBox and openSenseMap as photonics tools for innovation by professional users.
Junge Tüftler:innen [Young Tinkerers] is a non-profit organization with the goal of empowering people to actively and sustainably shape the world with digital tools. The tinkerers use the senseBox in our workshops, develop joint workshop formats and events, and collaborate on the topic of open badges.
The company from Constance specializes in technical education. The senseBox is also part of the company’s product range, which also offers training courses and workshops using it.
EducaTec AG was founded in 2004 with the aim of promoting technology and engineering thinking in public and private schools in Switzerland. The company is our partner in Switzerland and looks after customers there.
Trübner is our partner when it comes to irrigation technology. For example, the SMT50 soil moisture sensor was jointly selected and adapted for the senseBox.
